Eighth grade students will be dismissed after the ceremony. For those parents/students who are not able to make arrangements to dismiss at that time of the day, your student will be able to remain at school under adult supervision until the end of the school day. What to wear - What not to wear.
Students will be checked for dress during STRIDE on the day of Eighth Grade Graduation. Those who do not meet the dress code will be given the opportunity to correct it or call home for a change of clothes. The dress code will be strictly enforced. Note: it is not the intention of the school that parents go out and buy elaborate outfits for 8th grade graduation. It is the intention that students dress up for this very special ceremony. Those who believe that the dress code presents financial difficulty to your family, please contact the school. We have means of helping families so that everyone meets the dress code guidelines and can fully participate in the ceremony. BOP is Coming! "My Favorite Teacher"
Bay View Students Use Talent and Give BackRecently, Bay View 8th grade student, Samuel Jasmer and 7th grade student, Caley Buck were asked by their Visual and Performing Arts teacher, Patt Christie if they would donate their talents by drawing a Green Bay Packer player. The students donated these framed pictures for auction to the Howard-Suamico Wine and Cheese Social which was held on Thursday, Feb. 23. The event was a fundraiser for the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation. Both drawings were done outside the school day, and represent many hours of work and dedication. The generosity demonstrated by Samual and Caley is greatly appreciated by the Howard-Suamico School District, and stands as a shining example of what civic-minded students can accomplish.
